Jim Scheppele, owner, Waterloo Office
Jim has over 34 years of claims experience specializing in personal injury, workers compensation, and general claims handling. He held the position of Claims Manger with Schall Claims Service, and Hawkeye Claims Corporation. Jim has a Bachelors Degree from Minot State College, and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Joe Paxson, owner, Waterloo Office
Joe has over 20 years of multi-Line experience. He specializes in homewoners, commercial property, farm, business income and liability claims. He holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Northern Iowa and has completed his CPCU designation. Joe is active in the appraisal process, as well as acting as an umpire.
Gale Dana, Adjuster, Waterloo Office
Gale has over 20 years of multi-line experience, which includes heavy equipment, commercial trucks, agricultural claims. He has 22 years of auto body experiene. He is a Hawkeye Community College graduate with a degree in auto body repair and is I-Car Certified with additional certificates through I-Tech in auto body repair, residential and commercial property. Gale currently holds a seat on the Hawkeye Community College Auto Body Advisory Board.
Jack Hiatt, Adjuster, Waterloo Office
Jack is a gradute of Hawkeye Community College. Jack has a background in construction and automotive repair and has 10 years multi-line experience and has also worked storm claims in Florida, Louisiana, Kansas, and Minnesota.
Dick Paxson, Waterloo Office
Dick has over 40 years of experience in the insurance business. He is a former magistrate and acts as an umpire.
Scott Bennet, Adjuster, Mason City
Scott has 32 years multi-line experience specializing in both property and casualty claims. Scott owned and operated Lapointe Insurance Adjusters for 25 years and handled all types of insurance claims. Scott graduated from Iowa State with a Bachelor of Science Industrial Engineering degree and has numerous insurance related certificates.
Phil Paxson, Adjuster, Bellevue Office
Phil has 16 years of multi-line experience starting with Allstate and Farmers Insurance Group. Phil attended General Liability School in California, is a Tech-Core Auto Training graduate. Phil is Gulf War veteran with the Marine Corps, and a UNI graduate.
Jon Oppedahl, Adjuster, Spencer Office
Jon has 14 years property adjusting experience with Allied Insurance. In addition, he has significant CAT experience involving all types of property losses. Jon is a former school teacher, a former National Guard member, and has his college degree form the University of Northern Iowa.
